We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our DevOps / Developer Experience function, focused on improving how engineering teams build, test, and ship software at scale.
This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and developer productivity. The team owns CI/CD systems, internal developer tooling, and cloud infrastructure patterns used across multiple engineering teams.
You will lead a small team of engineers while remaining hands-on with architecture and technical decisions. The focus is on building scalable, reliable, and secure systems that reduce friction for developers.
What You’ll DoLead and develop a team of DevOps / Platform Engineers
Own the design and evolution of CI/CD pipelines across the organization
Drive adoption of scalable CI/CD patterns and best practices
Improve developer workflows, build times, and release reliability
Define and maintain standards for GitHub usage (PR checks, branch protection, workflows)
Partner with engineering teams to onboard services to shared platform tooling
Guide cloud infrastructure practices across AWS and Azure environments
Ensure security practices are embedded into CI/CD (secrets management, IAM, OIDC)
Contribute to architectural decisions and remain involved in technical discussions
Support production reliability and incident response processes where needed
Experience building and operating CI/CD systems in a SaaS environment
Hands-on experience with tools such as CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
Experience with hybrid CI setups (e.g., self-hosted runners or executors)
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
Experience working with containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of CI/CD design patterns at scale (multi-repo, monorepo, pipelines, caching, parallelization)
Experience with GitHub workflows, including branch protection and PR validation
Familiarity with security concepts in CI/CD (secrets management, IAM, OIDC, supply-chain security)
Experience leading or mentoring engineers (as a manager or technical lead)
Ability to drive technical direction while supporting team growth
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams
Comfortable balancing hands-on work with team leadership
Experience building internal developer platforms or DevEx tooling
Familiarity with GitOps or infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi)
Experience in observability or operating SaaS platforms at scale
Exposure to DevSecOps practices
Work on systems used by engineering teams at scale
Influence how software is built and delivered across the organization
Balance between leadership and hands-on technical work
Collaborate with distributed teams across regions
