About the team
Design at Dialpad is at the forefront of creating intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that transform the way the world works together. What you’ll do
- Be an instrumental leader across our core experiences (Calling, Meetings, Messaging), working closely with other Design team members to help shape our product and design direction, as well as fostering cross-functional collaboration
- Identify key opportunities to address customer needs by leveraging insights, feedback, and research, ensuring our products deliver maximum value
- Partner closely with teams to help define long-term strategies and actionable short-term tactics, driving alignment across multiple teams for our core experiences
- Navigate ambiguous problem spaces with confidence, aligning with key stakeholders and leadership to move projects toward impactful solutions
- Invest in the Design team’s growth, educating about best practices and approaches for mobile and other non-standard devices
Skills you’ll bring
- Extensive track record of shipping complex, high-quality, impactful product design work
- An online portfolio with multiple projects that demonstrate of thoughtful work executed at a high-quality and has delivered significant impacts to the business
- Frames strong rationale for design decisions that persuades peers and executives
- Stays abreast of emerging design trends, technologies, and best practices, with a relentless drive for excellence and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated track record elevating a team’s craft through active critique, collaboration, and mentorship
- Extensive knowledge of touch and haptic interaction patterns
Extra-special candidates will have
- Experience working on B2B applications or AI products in a SaaS environment
- Familiarity with multi-device ecosystems
- Active participation in the global design community through writing, speaking, or open-source contributions
- Proven ability to identify and propose new opportunities for monetization and competitive differentiation
