Overview of Job Function:
This Individual will provide strategic tech guidance to the SRE and operations teams based in India. This senior engineer will provide subject matter expertise, advice, execute critical tasks and consult around SRE, DevOps, PlatformOps, Containarization and FinOps best practices. This role coordinates works with leads in other teams in and outside of CloudOps, managers, tech leads and all engineering stakeholders. This senior engineer will be responsible to exceed expectations around SLA’s\SLI`s\SLO`s, Lead time, Deployment Frequency, Change failure rate, , MTTR, tech stack guidance and strategy implementations in a fast-paced Public Cloud environment.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
As a Senior Engineer, SRE, you will act as a guide to Site Reliability, Automation, Infrastructure and Software Engineers based in Bengaluru, working closely with their counterparts in US to drive the adoption, operations, orchestration, securing, monitoring and optimization of Verint’s Cloud platforms. You will contribute to and communicate our vision and mission in close collaboration with your Engineering stakeholders, colleagues in Verint Cloud. Additionally, you will play a key role in planning and delivery of capabilities that contribute to objectives and initiatives at the department level.
You will be responsible for guiding and coaching engineers, unlocking creativity, and inspiring them to build the best solutions for users, and internal clients. You are comfortable with ambiguity, yet you excel at learning and driving in clarity. You take end-to-end ownership of your area and embrace iteration, believing that Shift Left and failure—and failing fast—is a key part of building great travel tech.
You will work to break down silos, collaborating closely with product leaders and engineering leaders across Verint to ensure alignment with our vision.

Required :
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent industry experience required.
- 6+ years implementing and maintaining Automation Infrastructure
- 5 + Years CI/CD, DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering experience
- 3+ years in servicing customers in fast paced agile environments
- 5+ years in AWS/GCP, Terraform, Datadog and Public/Private cloud implementations
- Excellent communication skills
- Skilled at requirements gathering and prioritization
- Successfully interacted and coordinated with remote teams
Additional Requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to transform technical knowledge into business language (e.g. reports, presentations, etc.).
- Ability to communicate technical topics to Junior engineers and personnel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong tech coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to perform complex scheduling, control and tech lead decision functions.
- Demonstrated ability to influence individuals, technically lead teams and work effectively with CloudOps leadership.
