The Role

The Senior Specialist will be responsible for supporting workforce-related projects and processes. This role involves partnering with customers to identify analytical business solutions and utilizing various data and visualization tools to design, develop, and deliver advanced workforce analytics and reporting solutions that offer actionable insights. Additionally, the Senior Specialist will present complex analyses in clear and understandable terms to customers at all levels of the company.

ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of robust dashboards and visualizations to drive key business decisions and operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, regulatory and compliance submissions and analyses that measure and assess business performance.
  • Sustain the annual process of succession planning and career development.
  • Establish communications and/or presentations, hiring and promotion announcements, retirement summaries and other written communications related to workforce data.
  • Deliver cutting-edge expertise and knowledge in HR and Learning & Inclusion practices through market research and benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with systems owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to aid in the overall data lifecycle management effort to achieve data quality.
  • Learn and adapt new analytical tools and technologies to drive business results.
  • Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge.
  • Perform other related assignments and tasks as required.
QualificationsRequired Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of three years of relevant employment experience in an analytical field.
Preferred Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline: Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related technical field and a minimum of three years of relevant employment experience in an analytical field.
Relevant Work Experience
  • Experience and proficiency with SQL, Excel, Dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud, required.
  • Technical proficiencies in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, required.
  • Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting and analysis, required.
  • Ability to assess and analyze diverse information, formulate recommendations, and make informed decisions, required.
  • Strong attention to detail, a collaborative team mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and solid analytical abilities, required.
  • Proven ability to work independently, required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, required.

  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
  • Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
Licenses and Certifications
  • Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
  • Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
  • Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
  • Stand to use/operate office equipment for the duration of the workday
Additional Physical Demands
  • The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
