Job Description:
The Sr. Specialist I, Organizational Development is responsible for the development of learning objectives and implementation of targeted programs to enhance core competencies, team collaboration, and professional development across departments.- Design and facilitate engaging learning experiences that support employee growth, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness as a part of the global Professional Development strategy.
- Develop learning objectives and implement targeted programs to enhance core competencies, team collaboration, and professional development across departments.
- Create comprehensive training materials—including outlines, guides, handouts, and assessments—that align with strategic goals and adult learning principles.
- Lead sessions on topics such as change management, communication, leadership, and performance improvement using structured content and interactive delivery methods.
- Conduct needs assessments through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and stakeholder consultations to identify skill gaps and inform program design.
- Deliver content using diverse instructional strategies such as simulations, role plays, group discussions, and experiential learning to maximize engagement and retention.
- Plan and manage onboarding, orientation, and continuous learning initiatives that support employee integration and long-term development.
- Partner with Employee Engagement on key initiatives including performance review season, the bi-annual Voice of the Employee survey, and LMS-related support as needed.
- Collaborate with Employee Engagement to support DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging) initiatives across the organization, including Employee Resource Groups.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
- 4+ years of experience in organizational development, preferably in a training role.
- Experience applying AI tools and technologies to enhance organizational development strategies, learning personalization, and performance analytics is a plus.
- Background in coaching individuals and teams to support leadership growth, career development, and change readiness is a plus.
- Knowledge of: Organizational development principles, adult learning theory, and instructional design best practices. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Word and PowerPoint—especially for designing professional, visually engaging learning materials.
- Skill in: Cross-cultural communication (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal and facilitation skills. Delivering impactful presentations and leading group discussions across diverse audiences. Organizing complex projects and managing time effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to: Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Adapt learning content and delivery methods to meet varying levels of learner experience and understanding. Continuously improve training programs by incorporating feedback, updates, and evolving organizational needs into a dynamic learning curriculum.
