Position Summary
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring for the Sr. Specialist, Electrical Engineer role on behalf of its client, an aerospace and defense company. The engineer performs electronics design using electrical design and analysis tools, including schematic capture, functional and block diagram generation and electrical wiring diagrams, across digital, power, analog and mixed-signal designs, and collaborates with optical, mechanical, software, firmware and electrical engineers and technicians as part of an integrated product team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and test mixed-signal low-voltage current driver boards.
- Board design using microcontrollers, with microcontroller programming and debugging in embedded C.
- Stepper motor control circuit design.
- Create design review packages and present circuit designs at peer reviews.
- Support proposal efforts and early program phases to define detailed system requirements.
- Own development from concept through production (cradle to grave).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- 4+ years of experience in digital electronics technology, parts availability and design architecture.
- 4+ years of design experience with integration and test of circuit designs.
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
- Knowledge of electronic design and simulation tools such as Altium, Xpedition, Cadence ConceptHDL, OrCAD, PADS Layout, Spice and Mentor Graphics.
Compensation: Base salary of $160,000 to $190,000, commensurate with experience.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
