SR. SPECIAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SR. SPECIAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER
- Manages an existing sustained customer base with a minimum sustained order book $10-50 million annual sales.
- Assigned accounts will include strategic and platinum accounts, located in North America, Europe, and potentially in Asia Pacific.
- Generates a minimum of 5% new profitable sales each fiscal year.
- Spends up to 25% of time focusing on growth through new & existing customers via new and existing products.
- Note: overseas accounts may be managed via video conference, with occasional (1-2 times per year) travel and/or tradeshow presence.
- Supports Customer Solutions team with strategic pricing for non-standard inquiries.
- Manages time and territory in conjunction with manager on a monthly basis.
- Maintains financial forecasts and projections to report sales funnel activity and opportunities to management.
- Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED FOR THE SR. SPECIAL ACCOUNTS MANAGER
- Four-year college degree in Marketing or related discipline preferred. High School Diploma required.
- 10+ years of sales/relationship management experience.
- Knowledge and experience of specialty materials end-use markets and products preferred (such as Aerospace, Defense, and Medical Devices)
- Knowledge and experience of Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) market and segments is desired but not required for the role.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient knowledge of markets and pricing practices/policies.
- Ability to be flexible and organized when faced with frequently changing priorities.
- Strong goal and results orientation; high energy, high impact.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills. Strong quantitative and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to resolve conflicts and arrive at good business decisions.

- Financial Management – experience monitoring and controlling cost for own work and may need to manage costs/budgets for large projects/areas.
