Job Summary: We are seeking a Solution Design Owner to join our team and own the global solution design and architecture focusing on supply chain processes such as order fulfillment, procurement, production planning, and inventory management. While your expertise may focus on specific process areas, you need to have a general knowledge of supply chain processes from an end-to-end perspective. Reporting to the Senior Solution Manager, Fusion ERP, you will drive and support solution implementation in both projects and continuous improvement based on business priorities and the transformation roadmap. You will partner directly with the Global Process Owners in supply chain areas, facilitating the solution design work, including the overall architecture.
To be successful, you should have experience facilitating or implementing ERP solutions, with Oracle Fusion Cloud knowledge being a must. You should also possess strong communication and change management skills, along with a continuous improvement mindset.
Essential Functions:
- Own global Supply Chain design with SDO colleagues to meet business needs originating from operating models based on industry best practices and out-of-box functionalities in ERP & surrounding systems.
- Own solution design documentation and technical specifications, requiring considerable technical competence to ensure a robust solution.
- Ensure the integrity of both the ERP solution design and the wider end-to-end solution.
- Secure integrations with other functions and connected applications to ensure they perform as expected.
- Facilitate the solution design work, including architecture in your solution area.
- Drive standardization where feasible and minimize global/local variants to address genuine business differences.
- Monitor product roadmaps and quarterly upgrades to identify new capabilities valuable for our business or allowing process improvements, and, with respective Global Process Owners, proactively propose their application.
- Contribute to the solution support & change request process.
- Contribute to competency development and training of the process network and specialists in the process area.
Job Qualifications:
Required:
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 5+ years of relevant working experience.
- Expertise in the solution domain within the supply chain.
- Understanding of ERP and other IT system capabilities and out-of-the-box functionalities, preferably with the Oracle ERP platform.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and a commitment to continuous learning from external sources.
- Strong skills in networking, network facilitation, and co-creation in an international environment.
- Excellent business communication and change management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Ability to drive delivery execution with AMS partners and other solution providers.
- Experience in solution design and implementation.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- Basic project management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into solution capabilities.
- Ability to visualize and document concepts in an easily communicated manner.
- Cooperative and good at influencing without direct authority.
Environment:
- Hybrid work environment that mixes in-office and remote work to offer flexibility and support to employees. In-office hours are set by the group manager. This position will be based out of De Soto, KS.
- Standard work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the role may require after-hours and weekend work to complete projects on time.
- Travel as needed; up to 10%.
