Job Title: Sr. Software Technologist I
Your Role:
• Acts as the technical coach for a team or domain, being recognized and approached by team members for expertise and guidance, ensures consistent application of best practices and high standards across projects.
• Sets quality goals and development practices with the team, driving continuous improvement and excellence in software development through rigorous standards and methodologies.
• Integrates software components and third-party libraries into existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and interoperability with minimal disruption.
• Conducts and participates in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality.
• Analyzes and optimizes application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance user experience and system efficiency, ensuring the software meets performance benchmarks.
• Stays current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating new tools and methodologies to improve development processes and product quality.
• Develops software to log and store performance data, usage, errors, etc., enabling continuous monitoring of solutions and products for improved reliability and performance.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and user needs.
• Resolves a wide range of moderate complexity requests in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
You're the right fit if:
• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent with minimum 8 years of experience in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture or equivalent.
• Expertise in Web and handheld devices using React Framework, next JS, TypeScript, Module Federation and required UI frameworks.
• Expertise in MFE, Good Knowledge on CSS, Nodejs, React JS.
• Strong working experience with AWS and Cloud technologies is a Must.
• Collaborate with architects and DevOps engineers on CI/CD deployment pipelines (Serverless Framework / AWS SAM).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of security best practices and implementing security measures.
• As a Module Lead, should be able to perform Technical Architecture and provide solution design support to the team members.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expert in applying common design patterns.
• Unit Test Framework (Jest, Mocha) and TDD.
• Expert in SOLID Design Principles and clean coding principals.
• Ability to create reusable code.
• Follow clean coding principles.
Role Expectation (Module Lead)
- Delivery Ownership.
- Commit to module‑level timelines and deliverables.
- Ensure features are “done” end‑to‑end (not just coded).
- Drive closure rather than hand‑offs.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify refactoring or improvement needs.
- Improve test coverage, automation, or performance over time.
- Reduce recurring defects or rework.
- Manage end-to-end Customer feedback and resolution (early integration feedback).
- Own a clearly defined functional or technical scope (module / component / service) end‑to‑end — from requirements to delivery — with accountability for:
- Design readiness.
- Integration into the larger system.
- Closure of review comments and known issues.
- CI/CD pipeline monitoring and fix any bottlenecks/regression failures).
Execution and Predictability
- Track module‑level work (stories milestones).
- Highlight risks, dependencies, and slippages early.
- Support sprint execution and backlog readiness.
Quality and Compliance Accountability
- Ensuring deliverables meet quality KPIs.
- Timeline closer of Code reviews ensuring the Architecture compliance.
- Readiness for audits, reviews, and regulated environments where applicable.
- Develop own succession: scout / develop talents to show progress on readiness of own successors.
- Support team members ramp up on the module.
- Support to upskill team members on AI DLC (at least one team member).
- Act as the first escalation point for technical issues.
