Sr. Software Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Software Technical Project Manager to lead and manage multiple software development projects for mobile and web platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to establish project strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource needs, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery.
What you will do:

Project Planning : Collaborate with Product Managers, Program Managers, Software Systems Engineers to capture roadmaps, requirements, and success metrics. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and risk management.

Team Leadership : Lead cross-functional teams, mentor project managers, Release Train Engineers and resolve team dynamic issues.

Execution & Monitoring : Track project activities, risks, identifies and collaborates on interdependencies between HW-SW and other simultaneous projects. Work with functional leadership to drive issues to closure and escalate issues and mitigation recommendations to upper management when necessary. Facilitate project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Process Improvement : Partner with Global Software and Tools leader to prioritize and collaboratively implement the continuous improvement opportunities to develop processes, tool flows, capabilities, best practices, templates, integrations, process/product data, process data collection, KPI/metrics reporting, and corrective action process.

Stakeholder Communication : Communicate project vision and plans to team members and stakeholders. Work with IT departments for system and security design.

Project Closure : Conduct post-project evaluations, obtain formal approvals, conduct retrospectives and document lessons learned.

Project Governance: Assist with implementation and improvement of yearly Project Governance process and Project Management processes, reviews project requests and works with requestor and team to get estimates.
What You Need to Succeed:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).

Minimum of 8 years in software product development and 5 years in engineering cross functional leadership.

Experience managing software projects for mobile and web platforms.

Familiarity with UI development frameworks and SOC 2 requirements for a secure lifecycle is a plus.

Autonomous leadership in new product development from concept to production.

Proven problem-solving skills and strong business acumen.

Experience with consumer products, software, hardware, and/or systems development.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project management software.

Tenacity in coordinating project team members to achieve program timelines and outcomes.

Self-starter with experience leading significant impacts on project execution, processes, and tools.

Courage to raise issues to business leaders when a program is at risk.
-
Ability to travel up to 20%.

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.
- The expected Base Salary Range: $123,700 - $218,700 . The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
