Summary:

 

In this role, you will lead quality engineering efforts for application and data platforms supporting client, contact, account, membership, and spend data. You will develop automated testing solutions, validate complex data workflows, and partner with multiple engineering teams to support a new Master Data Management platform. You will leverage AI-assisted tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, and end-to-end workflow validation.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Lead quality engineering efforts across multiple application and data platform teams.

·       Develop and maintain automated tests using Python, Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.

·       Validate data workflows across MDM, application, and backend systems.

·       Write and execute SQL queries to support backend data validation and analysis.

·       Test application functionality, integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and end-to-end workflows.

·       Support quality validation for Informatica MDM and related data management capabilities.

·       Collaborate with development teams working in .NET, Python, SQL, Databricks, and Azure environments.

·       Leverage AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate test creation and validation workflows.

·       Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.

·       Identify defects, analyze root causes, and recommend process or design improvements.

·       Support CI/CD testing practices and automated quality gates.

·       Mentor team members and contribute to quality engineering standards and best practices.

 

Qualifications:

 

·       Relevant degree preferred.

·       5 or more years of relevant experience required.

·       Experience developing automated tests using Python, Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation tools required.

·       Strong SQL skills for backend data validation and analysis required.

·       Experience testing data workflows, integrations, APIs, and enterprise applications required.

·       Experience with Azure, Databricks, .NET, or cloud-based data platforms required.

·       Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development/testing tools highly preferred.

·       Experience with MDM, data quality, data governance, or master data platforms preferred.

·       Informatica MDM, Salesforce, or similar MDM/tooling experience preferred.

·       Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

·       Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $155,500.00.
