Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Lead quality engineering initiatives within agile scrum teams and drive a culture of quality-first development and provide update to leadership.
- Maintain, enhance, and optimize existing automation test frameworks to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Partner with developers and product teams to design robust testing strategies for new features.
- Create comprehensive test plans, execute manual and automated test cases, and ensure high test coverage.
- Drive automation efforts by developing, integrating, and maintaining test suites using industry best practices in the CI/CD Pipeline
- Mentor and guide QE engineers to elevate testing capabilities across the organization.
- Collaborate in cross-team technical discussions, contributing to architecture, design, and SDLC improvements.
- Explore and leverage AI-powered tools and solutions to enhance test automation, optimize workflows, and drive data-driven quality insights.
- Having AI/ML Model testing with prompts.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry
- 8+ years of professional experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Development.
- Proven track record of leading quality initiatives and mentoring teams of 4-6 QE engineers.
- Strong programming experience in Java with frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG; proficiency in JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Eclipse, Jenkins, Maven, and Git in CI/CD environments.
- Solid expertise in API testing using Rest Assured and validating complex service integrations.
- Practical experience in AI model testing to ensure fairness, accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI-driven solutions.
- Experience in Mobile testing (manual and automated) across Android/iOS platforms using tools such as Appium or similar frameworks.
- Expertise in diverse testing techniques (functional, integration, regression, performance, automated) and their practical application.
- Advanced working knowledge of debuggers, IDEs, build tools, and version control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex application and environment issues.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to drive cross-team technical discussions.
- Solid understanding of SDLC concepts, Agile methodologies, and best practices in quality assurance
