We're looking for a Software Performance Engineer:
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
OR
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in performance engineering or a similar role
Proven ability to implement performance testing frameworks
Ability to identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks
Proficiency in at least one coding language such as Python, along with Bash scripting
Experience using Unix/Linux Operating Systems and have exposure to container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with KVM/ESXi Virtualization, KVM Server Management
Exposure to monitoring and dashboarding tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, or similar)
Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and ability to set direction in complex environments
Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute benchmark and stress tests to detect and resolve system bottlenecks
Optimize performance at the software and hardware level for enterprise applications
Build and present data-driven insights through dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) to guide decision-making
Mentor team members and collaborate across cross functional or cross business functions
Curiosity and interest in exploring AI-driven tools or techniques for performance testing and analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee. This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.
