Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer with a strong background in DevOps to join our dynamic team at TechM Chennai TMCC. The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in software development and a proven track record of implementing DevOps practices to enhance software delivery and operational efficiency. This role requires a blend of software engineering and DevOps expertise to drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high quality software applications.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Utilize DevOps tools and practices to improve deployment frequency and reduce lead time.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in software development with a focus on DevOps.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast paced environment.
