Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Lead architecture, design, and development of RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET, ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC), and Entity Framework
Establish engineering best practices: SOLID principles, design patterns, code reviews, technical standards, and documentation
Build front-end experiences using JavaScript/TypeScript with ReactJS
Own end-to-end delivery: requirements, design, implementation, automated testing (unit, integration, UI), performance, and deployment
Design for reliability, scalability, and security in AWS; containerize and ship services with Docker
Work across data stores (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle), including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
Implement and improve observability (logging, monitoring, alerting) and drive operational excellence
Integrate AI/ML capabilities where appropriate to enhance product features and developer productivity
Ensure secure development practices including SAST/DAST and remediation of findings
Mentor and coach engineers; lead technical initiatives and collaborate with product, UX, and stakeholders
Must-have qualifications
Deep .NET expertise with ASP.NET Core (Web API, MVC) and Entity Framework
Strong RESTful API and Microservices design and development
Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with modern front-end frameworks of ReactJS
Solid grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and microservices architecture
Strong SQL skills across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
Automation experience: unit, integration, and UI test frameworks
Cloud experience with AWS/Azure
Docker experience for containerizing applications
Proven ability to lead initiatives and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions
Nice to have
Monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, Prometheus, ELK Stack
DevOps/CI/CD tools: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory, Groovy
Load/performance testing (e.g., JMeter)
Security best practices in SAST and DAST

Education Qualification
For roles outside USA:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
For roles in USA:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 6 to 10 years
Desired CharacteristicsTechnical Expertise:
• Master's Degree/ PHD in Computer Science
• Experience with Windows and Unix / Linux based programming
• Experience working on software projects in the Energy domain (Energy Management, Oil & Gas, Power & Water)
• Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner
