Alteryx is building the next generation of cloud-native analytics, powered by Live Query. We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape how users interact with analytics running directly on modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, and BigQuery.

This role is frontend-heavy and focused on building intuitive, high-performance user experiences for complex, data-driven workflows. You’ll work closely with backend and design partners to make powerful analytics capabilities feel simple and responsive.

What you’ll work on

· Design and build frontend features for Live Query workflows and experiences

· Own complex UI flows for configuring, running, and interacting with analytics on cloud data platforms

· Build responsive, performant, and accessible user interfaces for data-heavy applications

· Work closely with backend engineers to define APIs and handle asynchronous, long-running interactions

· Drive frontend architecture decisions and improve code quality and maintainability

· Review code, mentor engineers, and help raise the frontend engineering bar on the team

What we’re looking for

· 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software engineering

· Strong experience building modern web applications using React and TypeScript

· Solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and performance optimization

· Experience working with complex, data-driven UIs and asynchronous workflows

· Ability to take ownership of features and communicate technical tradeoffs clearly

Nice to have

· Experience collaborating on products that integrate with backend or data services

· Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery

· Familiarity with design systems, accessibility, and UX best practices

· Some full-stack experience or comfort reading backend code
