Role Overview:
The Alteryx Engine is the core technology behind products like Alteryx Designer, Server, Analytics Gallery, and Designer Cloud. It drives the high-speed, efficient execution of workflows. We’re looking for a skilled C++ Engineer to help build the next-generation Alteryx Engine a high-performance, cross-platform, multi-threaded data processing system developed with modern C++ practices and tools.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years of professional experience in C++ development
Strong expertise in modern C++ (latest language standards, best practices, and clean coding)
Deep understanding of STL, Boost, multi-threaded programming, and algorithm design
Proven passion for performance optimization and writing high-quality, maintainable code
Experience working in agile, collaborative development environments.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with C++ testing frameworks such as Catch or Google Test (GTest) and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Hands-on experience with cross-platform development (Windows & Linux) using CMake
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab
Basic understanding of SQL databases and common data formats like JSON, XML, CSV, and YAML
