Sr Software Engineer

What's the role?Develop and evaluate new algorithms to enhance Observables with more richer and accurate attributes.Implement tools to enhance automated Observables processing systems, involving backend/service-based software stacks, but also dashboard components for data tracking and analysis.Own and drive technical excellence and in-depth solutions in an innovative and fast-paced environmentApply and extended CI/CD tools and execute end-2-end ownership of your developed software stack, including DevOps and testing aspectsWork with other engineering teams and internal customers to identify new opportunities, address critical needs, and solve complex problems using your backend development expertiseDrive initiatives that contribute in development of software that is efficient, re-usable and reliable (e.g. agile, coding, verification)Be part of an agile team, share knowledge, carry out code reviews Who are you?7+ years of software design and development experience with distributed highly scalable systems. Demonstrated expertise in building and enhancing Java and Scala based scalable and high performance application. Hand-on experience in REST, GIT Design patterns knowledge is a must Knowledge of data structures and algorithms is must Infrastructure experience: Maven/SBT, GIT/GERRIT, Jenkins, CI/CD processes, Linux Environment Experience with Apache Kafka/Spark/Flink, Amazon Web Services, AWS EMR, Splunk is considered a plus Solid knowledge of programming practices, strive to write great code that is reusable, flexible,and reliable. Self-motivated, well-organized, details-oriented and a strong team player with an agile mindset Strong quality mindset is considered a must: unit testing and test-driven development Good communication skills in English both written and spoken. 

The expected base salary range for this position is $104,300 to $149,000 per year. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills and experience. 

This position is also eligible for a target annual performance bonus, which is subject to company and individual performance.
