As a Software Engineer, you will be designing & writing software for the products we are creating.
Some of the activities include following:Attend the team Stand-ups and share what was accomplished yesterday and planned for today.
Discuss the design/implementation approach of new features and negotiate acceptance criteria.Write clean, efficient code implementing features with sufficient test coverage, and deploy and validate your solution.Participate in code peer reviews, respond to yours.Learn new things as well as become an expert in our HERE domain and services.Support critcal products and work on enhancements.
Who are you?Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent.3+ years of software design & development experience. Good to have experience in working on distributed scalable systemExcellent skills in Java and/or Scala programming.Good to have Python experienceStrong and applied DBMS & SQL skillsCloud Experience, preferrably AWSStrong experience CI/CD tools, with a preference on gitlabGood knowledge of Linux/Unix - familiar with shell scriptingSolid knowledge of programming practices, strive to write great code that is reusable, flexible, and reliable.Strong quality mindset is considered a must: unit testing, performance testing, writing testable codeSelf-motivated, well-organized, details-oriented and a strong team player with an agile mindset
