Team Description
The Nuvola development team has an opening for a Sr Web Developer. This position will be part of a large, distributed and tightly knit team dedicated to implementing, enhancing and supporting the Nuvola suite of applications for Sabre Hospitality Solutions. With focus on scalability, security and modernization this person will play a key role to bring the Nuvola suite to a state-of-the-art enterprise ready solution.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities will range from implementing/enhancing applications to troubleshooting critical production issues and identifying/remediating poor performing code.
Communication skills, collaborative development and problem solving will be critical to success in this position.
A demonstrated thirst/inclination/passion for technology is highly valued.
Qualification and Education Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience in Python and frameworks like FastAPI, Flask
- Advanced English level both verbal and written
- Extensive experience in MySQL and non-relational DBs
- Extensive experience in cloud computing (GCP and AWS)
- Experience with application reverse engineering and refactoring
- Experience implementing coding best practices and design patterns
