You will be part of a talented team of software engineers who strive to provide a best-in-class solution for our dental customers. This position is responsible for performing advanced full stack programming tasks for the maintenance and enhancement of our Dentrix Practice Management System. You will be seen as a technical leader on the team.
What You Will Do

Development of enhancements and eliminate bugs in the Dentrix Software

Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings

Mentor more junior engineers

Solve complex problems using knowledge, passion, and curiosity

Craft code that reflects an expert understanding of object-oriented design, refactoring, clean code, clean architecture and solid engineering principles

Follow the Test-Driven Development (TDD) paradigm when possible and mentor others in its use

What You Will Have

5+ years of experience building backend software utilizing our technology stack

Working knowledge of C++

Understanding of domain driven design

Experience with unit testing a must

Experience working in an agile environment (Jira a plus)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Enjoys sharing ideas with and learning from other team members
Nice to Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Prior experience as a team lead or technical lead
