Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Software Development:
-
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance system-level software using C++.
-
Develop multi-threaded and distributed applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
-
Implement and optimize algorithms for system-level tasks.
System/OS Integration:
-
Work closely with healthcare device teams to integrate software with system hardware.
-
Integrate low-level system components and 3p components.
-
Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, including memory management, concurrency, and performance bottlenecks.
IoT and AWS (Good-to-Have):
-
Design and implement IoT solutions, including device communication and data processing.

Utilize AWS services for cloud-based IoT solutions, such as AWS IoT Core, EC2, and S3
Collaboration & Documentation:
-
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Cloud and DevOps, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Work with external teams to help with the platform adoption and integration.

Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and operational procedures.
System Optimization & Troubleshooting:
-
Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system issues.

Analyze impact of technology choices
Continuous Improvement:
-
Stay updated with the latest advancements in C++, system/OS technologies, IoT, and AWS.

Proactively suggest improvements and enhancements to existing systems and processes.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in Software Development
Experience:
-
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on C++ and system/OS knowledge.

Expertise with multi-threaded and distributed applications.

Good-to-have experience with IoT technologies and AWS services.

Proficiency in Windows and Unix programming.

Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems

Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
