Overview of Role:
The Software Engineer works closely with other developers and analysts. The incumbent will develop data tests to support our product solutions which provide key information to our customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain data tests using C# and SQL.

Design, estimate, develop, troubleshoot, debug, maintain and develop in the existing environment, based on market and technical requirements.

Basic knowledge or interest in chemistry is a plus due to the nature of the data being managed.
Required Education:
University/College degree in Computer Science
Required Experience:
-
3+ years of software programming experience in object-oriented programming such as C#
-
Experience working with SQL.
-
Knowledge of big data preferred.
-
Other Useful experience: Specification writing, knowledge of the chemical industry, ability to read different languages (data managed in 45+ languages).
Skills:
-
Asset: HTML, C# Entity framework, GIT.

Fluent working knowledge of English; Any other languages is an asset.

Organized, autonomous.

Inquisitive; attentive to details.

Good communicator.

Strong analytical and documenting skills.

Self-reliant; Able to learn new technologies on your own, proactively look for answers instead of waiting for them.
