As a Senior Software Engineer (Testing) with a focus on embedded software, you will be responsible for designing test strategies, authoring test cases and test protocols, validating embedded software features, and improving product quality through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks.
Ensure timely completion of testing activities aligned with project plans.
Deliver high-quality test artifacts through reviews and continuous improvements.
Collaborate with onsite/offshore development and product teams.
Support technical documentation related to testing.
Continuously learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and Design Controls.
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science or related discipline
2–6 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing.
Strong experience in designing, documenting, and reviewing test cases and test protocols.
Experience in manual testing and automation using C++, Python, or C#.
Experience analyzing test results and preparing comprehensive test reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience testing product scalability, reliability, consistency, and performance.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.
Healthcare or Medical Device domain experience.
Knowledge of Medical Device Software Development Lifecycle, FDA regulations, and IEC 62304.
Experience with Python-based automation frameworks.
Exposure to CI/CD tools and ALM platforms such as Git and JIRA.
Exposure to Embedded Camera Systems and Image Processing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
