Overview

Job description
This role plays a critical part in ensuring quality from the endpoint perspective — including Windows and Linux environments that are tightly integrated with our backend systems. You’ll work on testing software that not only runs on the user’s machine but also interacts with cloud APIs, remote services, and system processes — requiring both system-wise thinking and an understanding of backend integration.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Write clean and maintainable scripts for test automation (e.g. in Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
2. Validate application behavior and performance on Windows and Linux systems.
3. Test and validate backend-endpoint interactions via API calls, remote events, and log tracing.
4. Collaborate with backend developers to diagnose cross-boundary issues between cloud and endpoint.
5. Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.
6. Collaborate with developers in a DevOps environment including CI/CD and monitoring tools.
Qualification/Requirement
1. Bachelor degree or above majored in Computer Science related.
2. Minimum of 1+ year(s) of experience in Windows/Linux development, testing, and troubleshooting with command line.
3. Good knowledge for scripting language (Python/bash/powershell).
4. Familiarity with system commands and shell usage in either Windows or Linux environments. Comfortable navigating system-level behaviors (processes, files, services, logs)
Experienced in one of following domain/skill is a plus
1. Experience with software test automation framework like Robot/Pytest Framework...etc.
2. Programming skills in Golang or C/C++.
3. Agile Development, ex, Scrum or Kanban.
4. Public cloud infrastructure like AWS and Azure.
5. CI/CD Integration.
6. Knowledge of basic data analysis, statistics, or SQL.
Non-technical Skill and Personality
1. Excellent problem tracing and solving, solution-delivering skills, cross-team collaboration/communication, and ability to work independently.
2. Fast learner and strong passion of learning new technology.
3. Preference of Autonomy, Growth Mindset, and Situational Leadership.
4. Good English communication skill and proactive mindset in global team collaboration.
