As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for testing tasks related to Endpoint Security products for both Consumer and Commercial. This role involves close collaboration with UI designers, developers, and project managers to ensure product reliability, performance, and overall quality.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test cases and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, reliability, and security
- Develop and maintain testing automation framework (e.g., XCTest, Selenium, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with product development and support teams located in various countries.
- Resolve customer problems on time to support critical business successfully
- Deeply involved in every aspect of the software development life cycle
- Learn the domain knowledge related to computer and endpoint security products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Familiarity with macOS and ability to troubleshoot environment/system-related issues.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Python and JavaScript)
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g. pytest and Robot Framework)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD processes (e.g. GitHub Action)
- Ability to quickly identify and resolve issues during the testing process.
- Good English communication skills and proactive mindset in global team collaboration
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in mobile (iOS/Android) or Windows testing and ability to troubleshoot for environment/system problems
- Experience in other languages (swift, SQL) is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms AWS or Azure.
