About the role
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join one of our web teams, responsible for the public facing websites of multiple well-known and highly successful brands.
Working closely with the development manager, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation and future support of our branded websites and associated services.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications. You will be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
What You Will Do in This Role

Five or more years’ experience with strong Computer Science fundamentals (e.g., Algorithms, Object Oriented / Functional paradigms)
-
Five or more years’ experience working front end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, Responsive Web Development, Bootstrap, Tailwind
-
Five or more years’ experience working with CQ5 / AEM (version 6.3+) stack.
-
Experience of AEM Cloud.
-
Thorough understanding of AEM stack – JCR repository, Sling, Sling Models, Felix / OSGI, AEM Template / Component Architecture, Editable Templates, Content and Experience Fragments.

Experience in Design / Build / Test Workflows in AEM.

Five or more years’ experience working with Core Java, Servlets, OSGI Config, Schedulers.

Experience working with REST, Sling and SOAP in a production environment.
-
Proficiency in building scalable, high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs.

Expertise in responsive web design, cross-browsers compatibility,
-
DevOps environment and working with CI/CD, Agile methodologies

Experience collaborating with clients, project managers, and engineers.

Experience mentoring junior team members.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience with Scrum / Agile / Jira

· Continuous Integration and related tools – Perforce, Teamcity, Octopus Deploy, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, Any IDE, Nexus, New Relic, Splunk.
What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

Experience with E-commerce websites.

Experience using A/B & MVT testing tools.

In-depth knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques and tools

Knowledge or experience on Angular, Node and ReactJS or VueJS
