Job Summary
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating core platform services for the Human Capital Management (HCM) product suite. This role focuses on building foundational capabilities such as the Foundation Data Model, Unified Authentication, and the Common Administration Console. The position requires strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, enterprise identity systems, and modern distributed architectures to support the migration and modernization of the HCM portfolio.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and integrate backend services supporting the Foundation Data Model and Common Management Tools (CMT) using C# and .NET Core;
- Implement and configure a unified Single Authentication Entry Point across HCM products, adhering to enterprise identity standards;
- Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using SAML, SSO, and identity providers such as Okta;
- Design, develop, and optimize relational database schemas and queries using SQL to support core entity persistence;
- Develop and maintain user interface components for the Common Administration Console using Angular;
- Integrate messaging queues and event-driven components using RabbitMQ to ensure reliable inter-service communication;
- Utilize search and logging platforms such as Elastic to enhance observability, monitoring, and system diagnostics;
- Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to HCM product teams during platform migration and modernization efforts.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience developing enterprise-grade applications using the Microsoft stack;
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and platform engineering principles;
- Experience working with enterprise identity and access management solutions;
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and provide technical mentorship during migration initiatives;
- Proven experience building backend services using C# and .NET Core;
- Hands-on experience implementing SAML-based authentication and SSO solutions;
- Experience integrating third-party identity providers such as Okta;
- Proficiency in SQL-based relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL);
- Front-end development experience using Angular for enterprise applications;
- Familiarity with messaging systems (RabbitMQ) and logging/search platforms (Elastic).
