[Our Role - Software Engineer for Cloud Edge Box]
In this role, you will develop core functionalities for the device-side, addressing the unique challenges faced by SMBs in cybersecurity, and play a pivotal role in advancing next-generation edge computing technologies. Your responsibilities will be:

Develop and maintain core functionalities of the Cloud Edge Box (device-side), including system services and network security modules.

Design and implement efficient, stable, and secure edge computing solutions tailored to the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

Optimize system performance to improve device operational efficiency and stability.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of device-side security features, ensuring compliance with Trend Micro's high security standards.

Assist with unit testing, functional validation, and troubleshooting issues.
[Qualifications / Requirements]

Proficiency in Linux operating systems with experience in device-side or embedded software development.

Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python

2+ years of software development experience

Familiarity with network communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and security technologies.

Practical experience in system performance tuning and optimization.

Understanding of device-cloud integration technologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, WebSocket, or other protocols).

Ability to analyze network packets using network packet capture tools such as Wireshark

Experience in hardware integration or driver development is a strong plus.

Experience with test automation development.
