In this role, you will:
- Define, develop, and improve software in a fast-paced and agile team of 5-7 engineers using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure.
- Analyze high-impact customer issues, supporting the Service team and providing adequate solutions for continuous improvement of our product.
- Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards.
- Work with product line leaders and architects to develop multi-generation software technology plans.
- Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining & support activities.
- Work cross-functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables.
- Apply principles of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” major (Computer Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- Advanced experience in C++ development.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Master's Degree/ PHD in Computer Science.
- Experience with Node.js, Qt.
- Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of medical communication standards DICOM, HL7.
- Experience with Windows based programming and Medical Product development.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Awareness about competitors and industry trends.
- Ability to analyze impact of technology choices.
