We Are Hiring
The Sr Software Engineer (Backend) focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing the server-side components of our platform. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a Sr Software Engineer (Backend), you are comfortable with databases, server-side scripting languages, application programming interfaces (APIs), and server architecture to ensure seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
What You’ll Do
- Work with data, processes, and code to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Create maintainable, testable and reusable code
- Develop features with security best-practices in mind.
- Audit existing codebase to improve performance
- Conceptualize and implement solutions for data storage

Requirements
- Located in the Sao Paulo area in Brazil
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with increasing responsibility
- Professional experience writing enterprise code
- Desire to learn and solve problems no matter the technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Excellent knowledge of back-end programming languages in our tech stack
- Extensive experience in software development, scripting and project management
- Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. Datadog, Grafana) and automated testing frameworks
- Nice to have: experience Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe CJA or experience with Ad Platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads etc.
