Sr Software Eng Supervisor

As a member of the Honeywell Quality Engineering leadership team, you will provide the leadership, team building and execution necessary to ensure that all products are of high quality. You will partner with product management, development, architecture, customer support, and professional services stakeholders to deliver quality features and implement our Product Quality Engineering initiatives. This is a technical leadership position that requires strong technical knowledge, passion around driving quality strategy, architectural alignment and ultimate business success. Responsibilities:

· Recruit, lead, motivate and coach teams of TrackWise Digital quality engineers to ensure the highest quality product delivery and define metrics to gauge progress against quality goals.

· Understand how all components and interfaces of the product work together and develop QE approaches to fit the overall product architecture.

· Help drive the maturity of Honeywell Quality Engineers to being enterprise-state fostering innovation, predictability, and creativity.

· Help drive test architecture, best practices, framework, tools, and systems for a results-oriented organization.

· Develop product quality and release standards for company products providing oversight for the creation and execution of software test plans, analysis of test results, and release readiness metrics including risk identification.

· Establish resource plans and coordinate QE resources needed for each release.

· Manage program level test and infrastructure projects complex in nature.

· Provide objective information about the quality of each release based on set criteria.

· Help establish policies around release activities and make decisions based on those policies.

· Act as a change agent within the Honeywell organization to improve quality and agility.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

· BS degree preferred (e.g. Computer Science or Computer/Electrical engineering)

· 10 years of software testing and quality assurance experience of SaaS solutions, in an Agile development environment

· 5 years leading a distributed team of quality engineers in supporting highly available, scalable multi-tiered web-facing applications

· Successful history of building and motivating strong, high performing teams including hiring outstanding talent and coaching them to success

· Ability to form strong trusted relationships with key stakeholders and their employees, foster an innovative environment while being grounded on a strong sense of integrity and values.

· Experience working with globally distributed teams in highly successful software product development environments

· Salesforce Administrator certification with practical experience validating applications built on the Salesforce platform

· Experience working in an FDA regulated environment, with knowledge of validation requirements for the FDA Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliance

· Experience defining test strategies and plans, and owning products from beginning to end

· Practical experience in all types of testing including exploratory, functional and non-functional testing such as performance, reliability and security

· Practical, architectural-level capabilities in programmatic web, web services and mobile test automation framework creation along with continuous integration tools usage

· Experience establishing effective automation practices along with functional testing
