We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer with expertise in C#/Python, AWS, and CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment methodologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power our products and services.
This position is a hybrid position located in our Haifa office. We are also open to remote for candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C# and Python.
- Architect and lead the implementation of cloud-based applications and services on AWS.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless integration and deployment of code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement, test and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and code reviews.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain current and competitive.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, and a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in high-level programming languages.
- Prior experience in a senior or lead engineering role.
- Proven experience delivering solutions using public clouds, preferably AWS.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, coding standards, and code reviews.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) frameworks and processes, preferably using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Software-as-a-Medical Device (SaMD) development.
- Knowledge of SQL-based database systems.
- Experience with observability frameworks like CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, DataDog, Dynatrace and others.
