About the Role
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes, visual design to actual code that will produce visual elements of the product’s web portal. You will work with the UI/UX designer and product owner to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the Web Portal looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX visual designs
- Develop cutting edge UI for product web portal
- Do quick prototypes with different libraries
- Optimize web portal for maximum speed and scalability
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Guide and Review work of the Front-End developers
- Collaborate with UI/UX designer and Product owner
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Taking self-ownership in challenging UI development work
Must have Skills
- Must have at least 8 yrs of experience in front end web development
- Proficient in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, SASS and DOM
- Proficient in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Proficient in Angular 6 and above
- Knowledge of D3 and SVG
- Experience in CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, Single Page Application, partial page updates
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Nice to have Skills
- Knowledge of graph rendering libraries like GoJS, JointJS etc
- Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle, Agile Scrum Development Methodology
- Knowledge of Azure Board, Sprint Planning and Execution
This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore, with an expectation to work from the office three days a week.
