The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $121,200-$151,500 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:This is What You Will do in This Role:
Translate business requirements to technical design documentation.
Write and review customer requirement documentation.
Review customers' standard specifications and other documentation to determine software development requirements.
Perform presentations of complex technical findings and developments to internal and external customers.
Train and develop Junior Engineers assigned to development teams.
Lead software product releases.
Provide external customer site support for deployed software.
What We are Looking For:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or closely related occupation.
Also requires three years of experience with Java. Experience with Python, cloud-based deployment, Docker/Kubernetes, Microservices, C++ and C# preferred.
Automation and continuous deployment.
Web services (REST, GraphQL) and messaging platforms like NATS.
Relational databases like MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
Agile software development with testing principles and practices.
Applying user experience design principles to create user friendly mobile and web UIs.
Up to 10% travel required to various unanticipated locations.
Pre-employment processing for this position requires drug testing and passing background checks.
Located at Dematic Corp. in Grand Rapids, MI.
Telecommuting is permitted.
Location & Authorization: This is a hybrid role requiring proximity to one of our U.S. offices (Grand Rapids, MI; Atlanta, GA, Milwaukee, WI). Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship.
