Job Description

CAI is seeking a Senior Software Developer to create and maintain customized solutions for our client. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for project planning, design, development, and testing of software applications using a mix of technologies to meet client specifications. This will be a full-time contract opportunity and onsite in Lee County, FL.

What You'll Do

  • Meeting with clients to gather and finalize application requirements

  • Setting project plans, tasks, and development goals

  • Developing new applications using SQL, Web API, C#/.NET, .NET MAUI, and XAML

  • Designing, coding, and implementing scalable applications usable on multiple platforms

  • Testing and debugging code

  • Guiding others in the design, development, and testing of new software

  • Reviewing website interfaces and software stability

  • Troubleshooting software issues

  • Maintaining and updating applications

  • Providing systems training to staff and customers

  • Maintaining and organizing source materials via SCCM tools like GitHub

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering

  • Knowledge of Visual Studio and C#/.NET, Web API, Power Shell, .NET MAUI, XAML, and MVC Frameworks

  • Familiarity with Java Language, HTML5, XML, jQuery, SQL, and Web Services.

  • High-level coding skills

  • Ability to solve complex software issues

  • Ability to manage all aspects of a development project

  • 4+ years of experience in software development

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work involving sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$95,000 - $110,000

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
