The RoleAs a Senior Software Developer at AspenTech, you will provide mentorship, solve complex problems, and manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will impact the direction of our front-end architecture, ensuring we deliver innovative and user-centric experiences across all our products with front-end best practices and a high standard of quality.Your Impact- Work alongside an international team of talented people who are passionate about technology.
- Gain exposure to critical industries such as power generation and chemical engineering.
- Develop and implement a robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end architecture.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance to other Developers.
- Actively contribute ideas for product improvements and solutions to technology and industry challenges.
- Deliver clean code supporting consistent user experience and product quality.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience with core technologies such as NodeJS, GitHub Actions, Webpack, Gradle, Nginx, MongoDB, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and/or JUnit.
5+ years of experience with modern front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.), and web performance optimization techniques.
Experience with writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
Exposure to architectural design patterns of highly scaled web applications.
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility challenges and client-side performance optimization techniques.
Experience with RESTful API integration.
