This is remote role, however you must be located within 50 miles of New York, NY to be considered.

JOB PURPOSE

We’re looking for a Senior Strategist who lives and breathes social media; who’s curious about the culture and trends that drive conversation and interaction; and is confidently able to translate observations and insights into actionable direction.

Reporting to the VP of Creative, this role will live at the intersection of creative and analytics. The Senior Social Strategist will work directly with existing partners and new prospects, uncovering their business’ unique challenges and their audience’s evolving needs. They’ll be comfortable conducting their own research to uncover additional insights, and will translate their learnings into briefs that steer social-first activations of all sizes.

As with all roles on our team, we’re looking for folks who would describe themselves as curious, creative, collaborative self-starters. Success in this role, in particular, relies on incredibly strong communication skills, as the Senior Social Strategist will be responsible for getting clients on board with — and getting creative teams excited about — their ideas and narratives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of Senior Social Strategist is a critical one, with the opportunity to shape the way our teams create work that cuts through the crowded digital landscape. This is a new role on our team, and one that will be essential to developing key existing client partnerships, as well as in new business pitches.

Strategy

  • Develop data-driven social and digital strategies that lead to great creative marketing ideas
  • Write excellent briefs
  • Craft persuasive new business strategies and runways for creative work
  • Co-create scalable content strategies in partnership with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Provide feedback to creative teams to ensure the work meets the needs of clients, audiences, and platform

Analytics

  • Audit and analyze a brand’s social presence, as well their competitors
  • Uncover insights about the clients’ business landscape
  • Conduct social listening to understand an audience’s behaviors
  • Analyze monthly reports and identify trends in order to iterate on future work

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE 

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working at digital/social agencies
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms
  • Experience using social listening tools like Brandwatch and Sprinklr
  • Experience working with key stakeholders at global brands
  • Confident translating data into insights, and insights into briefs
  • Charismatic presentation skills, comfort in client settings
  • Expertise at building presentations in Google Slides
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
  • High standards for their own output
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset

The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,00 - $110,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40-hour workweek and leveling. Keep in mind, we're flexible.
