Job Title:   Sr. Sitecore Web Developer

Job Location:  10900 Red Circle Drive, Minnetonka, MN 55343

                            May work remote two (2) days per week

Annual Salary: $142,000 - $150,000

Job Duties:  Working on the Legrand | AV Digital Experience (DX) Scrum team, Sr Sitecore Web developer  will execute true end-to-end development and testing of software products and web applications using Sitecore CMS and other frameworks in an agile lifecycle. Partnering with key technical and business stakeholders, the agile developer will help refine the product vision, estimate and design a solution, create, purchase, or customize the requisite hardware and software to create the solution, ensure the quality of the final product through manual and automated tests, and support the new software as it is moved to production.  As a member of the scrum team, you will be responsible for cross-training other developers in your specialized skills and areas of focus, as well as receive cross training from others, in order to achieve all the skills as a team necessary to deliver consistent, incremental value. 

Essential Functions:

• Write clean, efficient code in languages like C#, .net MVC framework, Webform, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Vue.js and React, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Lead innovative web design with a focus on usability, aesthetics, and SEO, following WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines.
• Develop reusable components using Sitecore JSS and Sitecore Headless Development
• Develop Sitecore backend features using Sitecore Content Search API, Solr, Helix principles           
• Develop cloud-based solutions utilizing Azure technologies (Cosmos DB, App Services, Azure Functions, etc.)
• Experience in AWS Cloud technologies and services. (EC2, Load Balancers, Target Groups)
• Develop AI based solutions using generative AI models using Lang chain framework and python
• Collaborate with Sitecore CRM and SAP ERP teams for seamless data integration into websites.
• Implement a scalable, maintainable CMS for future website growth.
• Write complex Microsoft SQL queries, stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
• Manage database activities within Microsoft SQL database such as backups, indexing, user management etc.
• Perform devops activities like creating build and release scripts, PR requests, deployments using Azure devops.
• Write automation test cases using one of the e2e framework like cypress, selenium etc.
• Participate in Agile Software Development and in all events like daily standup, planning, review, and refinement.  

• Provide key inputs during planning and breaking down stories to smaller tasks for execution.
• Integrating the code with UI build tools e.g., gulp, webpack etc.
• Identify, resolve, and retest defects using Jira product management tool.
• Be creative, flexible, and willing to continuously change, evolve, and improve software development processes. 
• Leads by example; providing support and mentoring to juniors as needed to ensure enough skill, knowledge and effectiveness in the development and testing process.

• Develop web-components with stencil.js and integrating with Sitecore.
• Write load testing scripts to leverage frameworks and tools like Jmeter, K6, and Jest.

Required Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.  

Required Experience: 3 years of experience as a Web Developer.

Special Skills: Must have experience with each of the following:

• 3 years of web development experience, including programming and developing web applications using .net MVC and C#;
• 3 years of code analyzer and code coverage tools like ReSharper, Ncover or similar;
• 3 years JavaScript, python and Node.js experience;
• 3 years of experience building websites using HTML, CSS and React;
• 3 years of development experience with Sitecore CMS;
• 3 years developing cloud-based solutions utilizing Azure technologies (Cosmos DB, App Services, Azure Functions, etc.);
• 2 years of AWS cloud development experience;
• 2 years of Azure development experience;
• 2 years of experience in writing SQL queries and database management using Microsoft SQL;
• 1 year of experience in SEO and GA;
• 1 year of experience Generative AI framework based application using Large Language models like chat GPT, meta LLM, google bard etc.

Certifications: Must have the following certifications:

• Sitecore 10 certification
• Azure and AWS fundamentals certifications

Work Hours: Full-time, M – F (8 am to 5 pm)
