Location/Division Specific Information
Unity(tm) Lab Services is a business segment that supports the Customer Channels Group, which provides critical outsourced on-site services at customer locations.
This position is in West Greenwich, RI

How you will make an impact:
Pipette Calibration Technician will provide support for the Repair, Preventative Maintenance and Calibration of Thermo Fisher Scientific and other manufacturers mechanical and electronic Pipettes.
What you will do:
- System owner for level 1 and 3 pipettes
- Coordinate asset pick up and drop off
- Maintaining calibration records for GxP and non-GxP assets in CMMS system
- Entering/removing new and/or inactive assets back into the calibration control program
- Coordinate asset calibration schedules with the client pipette owner or user
- Identify and document assets that are found to be out of the established client specifications
- Schedule any on-site calibration activities where mobile/temporary calibration team will be mobilized
How you will get here:
Education/experience
- Must possess a High School Diploma and preferably an Associate’s degree at minimum
- 1-3 years of varied shown experience required
- Computer/software skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred
- Experience in GLP/GMP environment a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
