How You’ll Make an ImpactAs a Senior SharePoint Developer at D2, you’ll play a key role in shaping the way our customer manages, shares, and protects critical information. You’ll design, build, and enhance SharePoint solutions that streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and drive mission success.
You will:
Lead the analysis, design, and hands-on development of modern, web-based applications
Use your 3–5+ years of SharePoint 2013 or higher experience to create and customize workflows, forms, templates, and automated processes
Build and support all core SharePoint components including sites, site collections, master pages, templates, web parts, lists, libraries, workflows, security groups, permissions, and custom features
Work with 3rd-party SharePoint tools and applications to extend functionality
Apply strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSL, XSLT, and CAML to develop and brand SharePoint solutions
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide clear documentation and communication
Collaborate with users and stakeholders to translate mission needs into functional requirements
Work with SharePoint Online technologies, including the Power Platform and modern web parts
Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate and enhance SharePoint management
Bring an understanding of PKI infrastructure and certificates
Leverage Microsoft certifications (preferred, but not required)
Education
BA/BS degree (or equivalent experience)
Qualifications
10+ years of SharePoint development experience
Active US Citizenship
Active TS/SCI clearance
Ability to work on site at the customer location in Springfield, VA

- Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $170k-184k. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.

We leverage D2 Consulting engineering, operations and governance best practices to efficiently and effectively deploy, maintain and continuously improve IT services and solutions. This includes not only engineering solutions such as VDI and providing direct support to operations but also deploying the tools to instrument and maintain Enterprise performance and availability (including ITSM and Enterprise Management Tools).
Protect & Secure: This is our cyber security practice, which includes functions like audit and information assurance, as well as the traditional mechanics of securing IT systems and services. We have experience working with the Government to better manage risk to help move the accreditation process along. This is especially true with respect to adapting accreditation controls to a cloud environment.
Cloud Migration and Data Center modernization/consolidation: This area is focused on cloud migration and adoption as well as data center consolidation. We work to ensure that infrastructure requirements are implemented correctly, according to best practices and in a timely manner.
