Job Title: Sr. ServiceNow Developer
Level: G3
Years Of Experience: 5 – 8 Years
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the implementation and customization of ServiceNow solutions to meet our business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow development and a strong understanding of IT service management processes.
On a typical day you will:
- Perform configuration and customization of the ServiceNow system, including creating workflows.
- Develop service request fulfillment workflows from customer requirements using workflows, UI actions, client scripts, business rules, etc.
- Utilize scripting tools and ServiceNow functionality to automate routine tasks.
- Execute integration and process automation using Orchestration, Web Services, SOAP calls, etc.
- Gather specifications from business departments and deliver products/releases that meet the presented needs.
- Interpret business and functional requirements to develop technical specifications documentation.
- Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems as needed.
- Collaborate with business liaisons to generate dashboards, home pages, performance analytics data collectors, and reports.
- Analyze and fully understand user stories and internal procedures to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows, and address scheduling limitations.
- Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data.
What you will Need to be Successful:
- Overall, 5-8 years of experience in a development role, with a minimum of 4+ years in ServiceNow implementation and development.
- Implementation experience with applications like HR, GRC, SecOps, CSM, PPM, APM, ITOM, Service Portal.
- Require proficiency in JavaScript, along with knowledge of HTML and CSS for UI development.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience in high code programming (Java, Sql, .net etc.)
- Foundation Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM, CIS-ITOM and CIS-CSM)
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) -Mandatory
Desirable:
- Experience with SDLC, TFS, JIRA, or equivalent tools to maintain stories.
- Knowledge of the latest features in ServiceNow’s versions.
- Strong commercial acumen and technical experience.
- Enthusiasm to learn new technologies in a fast-moving environment.
- Ability to work with a global team of professionals across various industries.
