  • Drive SEO initiatives that increase organic traffic and engagement to News & Insights
  • Design and run SEO experiments (A/B, multivariate) to validate hypotheses and inform strategy
  • Use data-driven insights to refine tactics and continuously optimize for both users and search engines
  • Define SEO KPIs and build reporting dashboards covering rankings, traffic, conversions, and ROI
  • Deliver regular performance updates and insights across the Digital Team and leadership
  • Stay ahead of evolving algorithms, GEO/AEO opportunities, and SEO best practices
  • Champion emerging tactics and technologies that keep PitchBook competitive
  • Lead SEO strategy for a high-impact digital growth channel with visibility across the business
  • Manage an SEO agency and partner with internal teams to scale programs globally
  • Drive growth in targeted organic traffic to News & Insights and other priority sections of PitchBook.com
  • Thrive in a collaborative culture that values curiosity, innovation, and measurable impact
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 7+ years of SEO experience with at least 2+ years managing SEO agencies or external vendors
  • Proven success with scalable SEO tactics (interlinking, content expansion, link building)
  • Strong expertise in technical SEO (crawl/indexation, structured data, hreflang, site architecture)
  • Experience with international SEO
  • Skilled with enterprise SEO and analytics tools (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, GSC, GA4, Looker, Tableau)
