Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in annual ERP system roadmaps, perform formal and informal reviews of existing systems and ensure changes/updates are communicated in a timely and professional manner
- The role will primarily focus on delivering Finance functionality, and key deliverables on the Product Costing. Also, the scope will be flexible as needed, to support other areas in the SAP like Group Reporting
- Liaising with the cross-functional Workstreams, Strategic Integration Vendors, SMEs, Communities of Practice, IT Solution Architects/COEs, and Stakeholders across the network to develop a strong and deep pool of expertise across Finance processes and Applications.
- Review and assist with Subcontracting orders and reporting
- Updating Standard and actual costs on a routine basis
- Good Understanding of Overhead allocation, Cost Component Split
- Analysis of purchase price variances, scrap, and assisting plant management to identify improvement targets
- Process cycle counts, report on variances, and the root cause of variances
- Provide general ledger and month-end close support
- Perform account and intercompany reconciliations.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as needed
- Perform standard costing updates including calculations of labor and overhead rates
- Analyze, design, and implement SAP ECC and S4 Hana system improvements through interaction with internal users and customers to understand and document system requirements to produce business requirements documents (BRDs)
- Identify and support end-user system access and/or transactional issues and interface with additional internal/external resources as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in SAP S/4 Product Costing,.
- Strong understanding of Finance operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and across departments.
- Experience in process automation and cost-saving initiatives is a plus
