About This Role:
Our ideal Senior Salesforce Developer candidate is team-oriented and possesses written and verbal communication skills with the ability to mentor teammates by sharing knowledge and expertise. They must have a willingness to adopt new technology with a “no fear” approach and help others improve their technical acumen. In addition to supporting the team, they will also be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, testing, deploying, and supporting Salesforce and AWS for Customer Care. This is a “hands on keyboard” role designed specifically for a developer that thinks product over project, is highly innovative and loves building software that solves real problems.

Our Customer Operations Modernization Squad (COMS) is led by technology and being built with a product mindset. This journey to create something new and innovative needs an individual to join our team who can work alongside a high-functioning team and commit to exceeding expectations.
To that end, the COMS squad is seeking a Senior Software Developer that will focus on design, development, deployment, and automation steps within Salesforce and AWS platforms.
As part of the squad, you will be expected to work with the team’s product owner, solution architect and other developers to contribute to any initiatives derived from our product roadmap. As a senior developer, you will be a key team member and instrumental in all software development aspects including design, build and support. Development initiatives will be primarily focused on Salesforce, but may cover a variety of front-end and back-end tasks such as: interface development, API development, automated testing, and platform deployments that support a DevSecOps way of working.
Our Team goal is to stay centered and focused on the customer. That means we all must be customer-led toward solving real customer problems and improving the customer’s user experience.
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or other technology related field or equivalent years of experience
5+ years’ experience with OOP development including Java, Apex, and/or C#.
5+ years’ experience with designing and implementing REST APIs for distributed applications
3+ years’ experience with Salesforce Development or Administration
Experience and knowledge designing and implementing microservices, with a focus on applying API integration patterns for scale and reuse.
Experience with converting web services from SOAP to RESTful
Working knowledge of OpenAPI Spec/Swagger
Experience with API testing automation such as Postman or similar tools.
Ability to write quality unit, functional, and automated tests
Experience with testing frameworks: JUnit, Selenium, NUnit, etc.
Experience using API Security concepts (OAUTH 2.0, Throttling, Certificates, Keys, etc.)
Experience using Zuul Proxy, AWS API Gateway or other API management solutions.
Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQLServer)
Working knowledge of Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development
Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) is desirable
Experience with node.JS is desirable
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
Compensation:
Compensation range (base pay): $88,067.00-$145,309.00
This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.
Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
