We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Commerce Senior Developer and Technical Lead with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce development (CloudCraze or Lightning). This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, and leading end-to-end Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations, while also mentoring junior developers and collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce Commerce (CloudCraze / Lightning) solutions.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce Commerce projects.
- Provide technical oversight and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality delivery.
Solution Development
- Customize and extend Salesforce B2B Commerce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
- Configure data models, product catalogs, pricing rules, order management, and checkout processes.
Project Delivery
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project managers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC): requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with security, performance, and scalability standards.
Team Mentorship
- Mentor and coach junior developers, providing guidance on Salesforce best practices.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within the technical team.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, releases, and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing Salesforce Commerce solutions.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or Management Information Systems. Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required work experience. 
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce development (CloudCraze or Lightning B2B Commerce).
- Proven experience leading technical teams and owning solution design.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, workflows, process automation, and custom objects.
- Deep understanding of B2B eCommerce processes (catalogs, carts, pricing, orders, and checkout).
- Strong experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, CRM, and external systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Salesforce certifications: B2B Commerce Developer, Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, or Technical Architect (CTA track a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Copado).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
