The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Salesforce Support Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you’ll provide daily technical and functional support for Salesforce users, helping ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction across the platform. You will play a key part in resolving issues, managing configuration changes, supporting data quality, and training users on best practices within Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Responsibilities:
- User Support & Issue Resolution
- Provide day-to-day support to Salesforce users, addressing technical and functional issues.
- Troubleshoot problems related to access, permissions, workflows, reports, and general system usage.
- Handle incoming support tickets and track resolution times to ensure timely assistance.
- System Maintenance & Configuration
- Perform basic Salesforce configurations (fields, page layouts, record types, dashboards, etc.).
- Maintain and update automation tools like workflows, validation rules, and email templates.
- Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation during Salesforce releases and updates.
- Data Management
- Assist with data imports/exports and support data cleanup initiatives.
- Conduct regular data integrity checks and support data governance practices.
- Training & Documentation
- Train users on Salesforce features and functionalities.
- Create and maintain clear documentation (FAQs, support guides, internal how-tos).
- Collaboration
- Liaise with Salesforce Admins, Developers, and Business Analysts to escalate complex issues.
- Support evolving business needs through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a Salesforce support or admin role.
- Proficiency in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, including fields, page layouts, reports, and dashboards.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader and Workbench.
- Basic understanding of permission sets, profiles, roles, and security settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
