Overview
ISS is growing! We are presently seeking a Sr. Salesforce Administrator to join our global organization.
The Sr. Salesforce Administrator will take a vital role in enhancing, maintenance and support for the Salesforce system. As Salesforce is a critical application in the business (supports sales, client services, marketing, finance, and operation teams), this is a highly visible role and a key member of the Corporate Information Technology (IT) Team.
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate well with co-workers and business teams. Quality is key, as well as the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage and support our business groups, including sales, marketing, client services, sales operations, finance, legal, delivery teams to resolve data and system issues, as well as to seek requirements to improve workflows and functionality.
- Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Saleforce.com platform
- Conduct day to day production activities, data maintenance, cleaning and verification in Salesforce.com and Financial corporate systems.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a multi-location team environment
- Independently research, troubleshoot, and resolve cases within established Service Level Agreements.
- Assist in data imports/exports and maintain integrations to SFDC, Expense system, Financial system, and other corporate systems.
- Ensure configuration, problem, change and release management principles are adhered to.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new processes and system enhancements.
- Assist in the testing, deployment and post-launch support of new functionality and ensure business needs are met and delivered in accordance with business specifications.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements from users and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Communicate with other ISS teams regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions.
- Comfortable working in an agile development environment with flexible processes and changing requirements.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with strong analytical, problem solving and issue resolution skills.
- Review and update of SOQL scripts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate of bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Must have 5 years’ professional experience in an IT organization and at least 3 years’ experience with Salesforce.com (Customization, Administration, Apex and Visual Force pages).
- Must have salesforce certification.
- Ability to learn new concepts and business processes rapidly with the enthusiasm to drive new initiatives and projects forward.
- Experience in software development, data management, Microsoft Excel and other MS tools and working knowledge on object-oriented and/or other programming languages such as SQL and SOQL
- Experience in project management and/or business analysis.
- Experience with Jira and familiar with Agile methodology
- Ability to rapidly learn and integrate new development languages to support new projects and requirements, to understand data structure and translate business requirements.
- Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing issues.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- In-depth experience with jQuery and/or ExtJS a plus.
- Able to remain calm and focused in a highly pressurized and time orientated environment.
- Strong critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving abilities
Work Location & Schedule
- Amenable working on a midshift/nightshift schedule, as business requires.
- Hybrid working arrangement (at least 3 days' work onsite per week)
