This is a field position. Regular travel across the AAA MWG (CA, NV, AK, UT, MT, WY, AZ) footprint, as well as to other AAA Clubs, special events, and conferences is required to build relationships and provide sales coaching and training support.

JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Sales Specialist, Financial Services is responsible for providing sales training and coaching to drive results across all assigned Branch, Travel, Call Center, and Auto Repair locations. This position serves as subject matter expert (SME) and works closely with senior leaders, frontline managers, and team members to support day-to-day sales activity (virtually and in-person) through regular training and hands-on coaching to install and reinforce sales processes and best practices to drive KPIs and achieve revenue goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work closely with all levels of management to ensure teams are aligned on product implementation, product changes/enhancements, and new product offerings.

  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) on sales materials, technology, and processes, as well as all applicable tools and resources.

  • Provide hands-on sales coaching and training support to ensure leaders and team members understand product design, usage, and deployment, including features and benefits, pricing, and the AAA competitive advantage.

  • Develop best practices and deliver sales coaching and training programs to enhance the skills and performance of field and call center teams to exceed activity targets.

  • Track individual and team performance, communicate insights, forecast results, and evaluate remediation plans.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders, including managers and team members, internal departments, and external partners.  

  • Represent Financial Services at special events and conferences. 

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and implement effective sales campaigns.  

  • Lead cross functional teams to develop marketing tools to help drive sales.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

Minimum Qualifications 

(Required)

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years (or High School diploma plus 12 years) experience in sales enablement, sales support, or related role

  • 3+ years experience in a sales leadership role

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of AAA products and systems 

  • 2+ years experience in the financial services industry 

  • 2+ years experience in the insurance industry
