Position Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Sales Planning Manager to support the Canada business through sales administration, data analysis, forecasting, pricing management, strategic planning, and FP&A support.

This role will oversee sales data, forecast accuracy, pricing governance, dashboards, competitive insights, sales targeting, and Canada P&L reporting. The position will provide actionable commercial and financial insights, ensure data and pricing accuracy, and drive informed decision-making and profitable growth while partnering closely with Finance, FP&A, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Planning & Analytics
  • Manage sales forecasting, pricing, targets, and performance analysis for the Canada market.

  • Analyze sales, revenue, margin, pricing, and market data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Provide actionable insights to Sales, Marketing, SCM, Pricing, and Business Management teams.

  • Maintain accurate sales and pricing data, structures, and customer price lists.

Sales Targeting & Planning
  • Support customer, channel, retailer, product, and market targeting and target-setting.

  • Monitor performance against plan and recommend corrective actions.

  • Align sales plans with demand, inventory, pricing, and profitability objectives.

FP&A & P&L Support
  • Partner with Samyang America Finance/FP&A on Canada P&L reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

  • Analyze Net Sales, gross profit, operating expenses, commercial investments, and operating profit.

  • Evaluate the financial impact and ROI of key pricing, promotional, and commercial initiatives.

Reporting & Business Insights
  • Own dashboards and reporting for sales, pricing, margins, forecasts, targets, and P&L performance.

  • Deliver timely business performance updates and executive summaries.

  • Improve reporting processes, data accuracy, and visibility to support informed decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in sales planning, pricing, forecasting, analytics, commercial finance, or FP&A.

  • Strong knowledge of CPG/FMCG, retail channels, pricing, forecasting, margin analysis, P&L, and budgeting; Canadian market experience preferred.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar analytics tools preferred.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with exceptional  organization, attention to detail, and data accuracy.


The base salary for this position is between $125,000.00 and $150,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
